STP Visionblade works?

does this stuff really bead water for 6 months? my friend, who says he put it on 2 years ago, says his windshield still beads! i've also read that this is the same stuff as that Aquapel you can get at some garages like Ziebart. so far i've only been a rain x user and it's getting a little annoying with all the elbow grease you gotta put in buffing it out and doing it every couple of weeks. anyone recommend it?

Switch, wiper blades. Either Piaa silcon or Sillblades. First they last about five years, second they coat your windshild with a fine coat of silcon. (Same effect as rain X) But with out the work.

I heard it works as well as Rain X but last much much longer, all the reviews I seen were positive.

I couldn't justify dropping the cash for PIAAs and got Bosch blades instead. They work pretty damn well, ten times better then the OEM blades that were on the car when I bought it.

i feel the same way too. i'd get the silblades, which are cheaper than PIAAs, but it's having to pay for shipping (i'm in canada) that's making em not worth it. did you get the regular Bosch Micro Edge or the Micro Edge Excels?

you say the Silblades also coat your windshield too? PIAA mentions this, but not Silblade. is it a property of silicone to release the coating or is it some secret formula PIAA made for their blades?
