starter problem? 2002 acura tl type s

hello, my 2002 acura tl type s didn't start a couple weeks ago. it's been working fine until I brought it in to the dealership. they told me my starter needs to be replaced. i told them that i hit the battery with a wrench then it started. they got it to start and i drove away because i didn't want to pay $569 for them to replace my starter. the battery was good.

anyone know what's wrong? i bought a new starter off ebay and am going to replace it. anyone have experience replacing the starter on a 2002 acura tl type s?

Replacing the starter is pretty straight forward...the `hardest` part was locating and removing the second bolt on the starter....your symptoms point to a starter failure....keep us posted on any updates.

If I made it known to its location where's the fun?

On a more serious note, I'ill remember to do so next time thanks for the reminder 01tl4tl

Note: for OP its located underneath the starter..you gotto cope a feel first before you put your spanner.
