is anybody having a problem with the light staying on had it checked and still on

 

if it comes on it most likely means something is wrong. Did you recently take out your seat or unplug it?

 

i had it checked and they tried to reset it but it stays on its the driver side AB i called the dealer they said it still under warranty just wondering if this is a common problem

 

yes. there is a OPDS sensor that tends to go and they extended the warranty on it. also some times Laptops on the passenger seat will set it off as will a faulty seat belt sensor

 

what about a cell phone would that set it off. cuz this morning my dad was sitting in the passanger seat and his stupid sprint phone rang and he souldnt find it the next thing i naticed was the srs light and it wont go off

 

That's what my dealer told me. The phone or any electrical device can set it off. If your car still under warranty, bring to the dealer to fix. If not, using search to find instruction on how to reset it.

 

Its scary that a device such as a cell phone or laptop could set off/dissable one of our safety systems ...

 

so were told. I had my laptop set it off, but never a phone

 

What is the name of this sensor specifically. I'd like to see how much it runs online. I always thought mine was going off because my girlfriend is tiny and sat forward so much, but maybe its faulty...
