anyone know a good place to install springs in nyc, i got quoted at 85 per spring and i think thats kinda high.

 

no mainstay shop around here like sears, tire stores, etc would touch anything that a customer brought to them for install. with that being said a board member, SatinSilverTypS, and i replaced all my struts saving me about $700. the rears are a tad more work b/c you have to take out the back seat. i'd say $150 for all 4 would be about right.

Dont know what they charge, but the local mechs that I use in Brooklyn seem pretty decent people. Bay Diagnostics. Google them and give them a call.

i donno if your still looking for a place but rayco in woodside queens did my 4 springs for 100.

 

Wings in Maspeth did my springs/struts install for $160.
