Are there any other companies ou there that make spoilers for our TL/TL-S? I NOT looking for any "whale tale" for my car... but I was just wondering if there's any other options (other than the ones on this site).

 

Nope, the 2 on this site (Wing's West and Acura) are pretty much it. Mugen makes one too that looks just like the WW spoiler, but costs 3x as much. Some people have put an M5 spoiler on their car. This is what I plan to do as well. Other then that, no other spoilers just yet.....

1999tl is my idol...his car helped me to get the type of lip spoiler i have always wanted (since owning my previous 6g accord coupe). a big thanks to him and snook for getting it to me!!!

Tim doesn't sell it anymore, if you want it now, I know somebody that can import it to you. It's like $650 when shipping is all said and done. give or take some.

how much would the value kit+spoiler cost? i like the spoiler along with the kit, but just the spoiler kinda seems odd and a lil out of balance...

if you have a tl-s then the value kit front bumper is useless due to headlight and grill redesign...

I was wondering... the $700 or $650 is for the spoiler ONLY or the whole kit. If its the whole kit WHERE CAN I GET IT!!! if its jsut the spoiler... DAMN TOO EXPENSIVE...If its the whole kit, which I am hoping for, How much can I get it with out hte front spoiler. That kit is SWEEEEETTT. Please give me INFO again. THANKS!!!

LOL, I paid about $3600 for the full kit from Tim shipped from Japan.

 

 

Inspire in Japan has it's own style of spoiler.
It's not the factory one that we have..it's a little bit different..
it's around 600 dollars as well..but comes as painted.

What is the point of the M5 spoiler, may as well not do anything IMO. I like my Acura one just fine.

 

I started this topic.... NOT because I didn't like the Acura spoiler, I like it... but I just noticed that there weren't much choices. Let's face it... we get aftermarket wheels because we want to get away from that sea of "same-ness." Some people would say the same thing about the spoiler... I just wanted to see if there were other options out there. Don't get me wrong... all those spoilers look pretty cool... but the more I think about it.... the more I like mine without any.

you're right, many people didn't noticed about the M5 spoiler until I mention it. But those who crave for cars will notice it immediately. and opinion varies. But they all agree that it adds a subtle look to the car.

as for functionality, BMW claims that it increases the stability of the car as speed increase. Which makes sense.

btw, I think TL with bodykit and no spoiler is very very nice too.

the side skirt and the rear skirt would still fit on the 02's rite? since they are exactly the same? just the front piece wont fit...

i think that'll look kinda cool too... does the value kit come painteD? and can i get the parts seperately?
