dont take fish eye'd shots.
after all, you're trying to show off how low you are, and the fish eye shots distract from it.
if you didnt tell me you were on air, I wouldnt know.
leave the photo editing for the pros!

never had to chop the fenders any more than when I was static. just the usual trimmed bumper tabs and minor roll. I got those AME WX's waiting for me but the most important step was air! now all my focus will be rims, plus my friends lip kit is coming too. I think its just the angle and the lighting, I don't have a spoiler or custom trunk haha

I always wonder why people don't replace their broken suspension components when I see cars like that on the road. Yet you say you've done this on purpose? Definitely not my cup of tea. I have a function over form mentality. But you obviously like it, so congrats on getting it completed.

This is air suspension, which gives the car the ability to drive high and park low with the hit of a switch. why dump money into making a prone to fail automatic trans any faster? I'm not quite sure what you consider "broken" smh. my car and suspension are quite fine.

^ You say that as if installing a Header or Intake will make your trans die the next day :S
...Our cars can be fast and look good without going overboard with the lowering, Your slam is in the highest end of the scale which puts you in the "Form over Function" all day..
Its okay though not a lot of people like to tune their cars.. its pretty obvious the way you took with your setup.

I just got these maybe a couple weeks ago. It was probably the first kit made because they had to r&d up there before it even got ordered. They are up on the site last I seen. I have the type ones only haha

Nah I have seen several TLs riding that low but on Coil-overs.. Air ride have that added comfort of choosing your ride height automatically BUT get more un-needed weight in the process < Back to "Form over Function" haha...
But hey! if you like it then its all good.

Haha damn y'all act like no one ever bagged a tl before. Performance for this car is not high on MY priority list. I wanna keep this car and it may get done in the future, but driving static daily in Hawaii is no fun. Bags do have a great function for me in that I don't have to deal with any obstacles anymore. And I can lay that shit out when I park it. I see nothing wrong. Hahahaha
Looks great I agree with you on the function part i originally wanted to go static but i have 9 killer speed bumps and humps in my neighborhood. Now that is unavoidable. The only way i will lower my car is if i do a bag setup, to allow me to rise for the occasion lol. Im not interested in slamming but definitely want it flush when i drop. Keep posting looks great.

LMFAO!! yea they're super chill folks! were all just tryna hold dow the TL fam over here on our isolated island. the TL/TSX meets Tj has been holding usually have good turnouts. im sure once the pics he's taken are done you'll see them surface

Do you have any pic of the installment or pic of what come with kit beside coilover. I also have Type 1
#27
Sorry no pics of installation. as far as the function stuff, they only sell the strut setup. since you have functions already all you need is the onair conversion kit. its up to you to source and buy your own air management system though. You'll need a tank, compressors, valves, switches, etc. basically everything but the struts.

Thanks man! Lip kit is next, got all the pieces collected but I'm trading a friend for his fully painted kit already as he has the jdm bumper coming in. just a matter of time. And I got some wheels lined up just tryna save my money to buy them hahaha

Hahaha I feel you! I believe Hawaii was ranked #2 right behind California for the worst roads in the country. I was static for 2 years till I finally got over it and decided to bag my car. lol

YOOOOOOO that shit is crazyyyy. Lovin' This!!!!
Some of the guys here need to understand that Hawaii is small as fuck and freeway speed limits are like 45-55 mph and have terrible traffic on a daily basis. When I was in Hawaii I pretty much figured that if you have a lot of power it's useless and wouldn't be as fun unless you're on a track, which you guys don't have.

Mah Nigga! lol thanks for supporting. a lot of people really don't realize Hawaii sucks period if you modify your car in any way. Y'all got smog, we got safety check and recon and other stupid laws. I would definitely say majority of Hawaii peeps are into the "form" over "function" because simply we don't have a place to use the "function", so might as well look good. haha

Goddddd Dayuuuummm!!! I didn't even know these were out.
I. Want. Now.
You've gotta post some more pics of your ride. What does the trunk look like with the compressor and what not? And the controls in the car?
If you dont mind me asking, how much did the setup run you? I wanted to go air from the begining, but it was so damn expensive so I opted for coils instead. This may finally be a solution to my addiction of going lower.

haha! thanks bro! my trunk isn't really a "show" setup. just plain old functional and easy for maintenance was my goal. ill get pics once I clean everything up. in total I probably spent a little under $3k or so total for all parts, and materials. The work was done by myself and a few close friends so no labor charge other than a couple bottles of Svedka throughout the process. lol
