Must have been REALLY dirty Maybe you just think it's faster because you can clearly see the road now..

I have always felt this way as well. People say it's purely psychological but I don't know... because a lot of people seem to experience it.

Every time I fill it up, it seems to run faster. I think it runs faster when it is 'full of gas'

full tank makes your car run a little harsher because it pulling more weight thats why racers usually have little gas in the tank (light weight)

This is funny but lets think fo a moment, technically when an object becomes more slippery (in theory) it will opposed less resistance as it travels thru the air. With that said, it is possible for cars to travel maybe a little faster when they have a fresh coat of wax or are very clean. Now you need to have very sensitive instruments to measure this but it is possible.
WE CAN NOW EXIT..........THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

My car gets a lot of static when I wax it, so maybe that is generating an electric field and causing it to be repelled by Earth and therefore having less weight and that makes it faster. Either that or the brakes are still wet from waxing/tire dressing and so it just seems fast because it won't stop. Seriously though, I just got the OEM body kit and it looks and feels like a new car to me
