Snook: Type-S sun shields?

Hey Snook, when are you going to start selling those Type-S heat shields? It's freakin' hot here in Kansas City!

I have the sunshades for the Type S on the accessiories page

But I assume you are asking about the ones with the logo.
It might be longer then I had expected, as there is a hold up with screen printing

Argh, oh well... I think I'm going to go with the no-logo version. It's unbearably hot!

Cool

I am curious as to how they will look. My car sits out in the sun all day and I could use a shade

Shades

Whatever you do, don't get the vinyl ones, because in the really hot weather they vaporize all over the inside of the car...ugh!

OMG, I can concur. It is way too hot here in Kansas.

Tim already has my order/money for the Type S sunshade for the CL Type S. I need one like yesterday.

sun shield

Got my sun shield from Tim yesterday. Couldn't wait for one with logo It's been over 100 degrees for over 2 weeks in OKLA.
Sun shield is the roll-up type, it fits great and works really well.

Do you have a DC? Can you take any pics of the sunscreen both in the windshield and when rolled up?? Just curious to how it looks in the real world. Thanx a bunch

From the pix, it looks like the sunshade (rollup) is kinda flimsy and wrinkled while in place. I had hoped that for $50, it would be the rigid, custom fit type (had one in a Camero with a long, sloping front windshield). Or am I expecting too much?

There is 2 kinds a sunshades I sell
There is the roll up kind, and the fold up kind.
Both on the Accessiories page on top

Here is the roll up kind, installed in my TL

Here is the fold up kind

Don't have any installed pictures yet, as they are just finished cutting them out now and starting to ship..

I didn't find out there were 2 shades availble till about a week ago when someone here email said the received the roll up kind, and the photo I had up was fold up kind
So I had to stop the screen printing done on the roll up kind, and set it up to get the folded kind done instead

Which one do you guys think the Type S logo would look better on ?

Snook,

Sorry, didn't scroll down the pix low enough to see the roll up type sun shield and the difference. I hope someone can post a pix of the fold up type installed and write how well it fits/works.

I think the Type-S logo would better on the fold up sunshade. The rollup looks like a wadded up ball of aluminum foil, I think the logo wouldn't look clean. The foldup would preserve a smooth surface, IMO, keeping the shade and logo looking clean.

my vote goes to the fold up ones too...and I think it'll look best to have to logo on the bottom right corner...

Cool

Put the Type S anywhere on both the roll-up and the fold-up as an option.

I'm ready for the fold-up with Type S, today.

I think it would look better on the foldup one, and put the logo in the bottom right corner in big so its readable far away but not huge letters so you can read it from a mile away. That would look classier and nicer than the knee jerk reaction to make it real huge and put it dead center which would look a little tacky on a car like this.
