so i just got an awesome deal on a greddy axelback muffler from a guy who is no longer going to be using it on his honda, so what i was wondering is has anyone gone from the dual muffler to the single setup. if so can i see pics and what was your reasoning for doing so?

There are threads on this. It looks goofy, especially when the rear bumper has 2 exhaust cutouts.

 

Been done by a dude named Austin, used to have a vid but made it private now. Was a SC'd 6MT MDX motor with a single exhaust, sounded like shit and looked stupid. Just letting you know.

I'm thinking about doing this too. There is no need to have the added weight of the second muffler when its not even a true dual exhaust. You can see the split from behind the car.

 

i dont think the 10lbs or less is really going to help you outrun vettes on the streets...

Don't do it. Unless you're going for that ricer fart cannon look. Plus it'll sound obnoxiously terrible and you'll have one muffler with two exhaust cutouts.
I don't think you want to be pointed and laughed at.

Okay so not gonna go with the single then. Just wanted to see if it was done before. How much is a greddy evo2 muffler worth used?

I honestly just wanted to see what it would look like, if I myself saw one someone had done already and I like it I would do it. But I don't wanna risk the money if I don't like the look, and I'll probably put it up and put it towards something else
