i know this sounds crazy. but when someone shuts the door to my acuar-tl it sounds like their slamming the doors. at first i would get mad at my daughter for what i thought was a slamming door. but after listening to my wife shut the door, i realize that they aren't slamming the door, its just sounds that way when your inside the vehicle. has anyone else experienced this?

Ya, on my friends 'teg you can gently push the doors closed but you have to give it some force on the TL.

 

it's called longer doors and inertia

 

They ARE slammin the doors on ya! *lol*

I get mad at everyone too for closing the door too hard. Don't we love our cars!

 

That is my biggest pet peeve of my passengers. I have magnetic doors so you don't have to slam them, just push them till the latch catches, then it sucks them shut. Im surprised they don't put that on the new Ac's.

 

That was one of the best things about the the Legends. My friend's '92 has that feature and it's awesome!

 

DaYaM.... you have that feature in ur legend?? I thought only mercedes had that. That sucks, why don't our TLs have it???

 

Yes they do my friends late model legend has that. It's awsome. You close the door, and it actually "sucks" it in!!
