Hey I looked in the DIY section for a how to on this but couldn't find one. I want to know how to replace the lights on my Shift Selector. The ones on the dash work fine but the one on the floor has its lights out

I am sure you gotta remove the side panels and go from there. Personally I have never looked down at mine since they are on the dash anyways

All you need to do it pry up on the plastic outer ring with your fingers (nails if needed) then the inner gate should be held on by 4 plastic clips. Pull the shift gate over the 4 plastic clips and it should be free. You don't need to remove the shift knob but its easier if you're trying to take the gate off. the bulb is in the socket deep, so you'll need to use your fingers and maybe some tweezers. After abit of jiggling it should come out though. I know because my dealer wanted to charge $100+ for opening the area up, lol.

You can see the 2 plastic clips above that are coming out the side of the shift gate, after that the bulb should be around D3. (sorry for large pic)

I'm pretty sure it's a #74 bulb.
