OK i have an 02 white diamond Type s with the tan interrior and im thinking about replacing the dome and 4 door lights with colored LEDs i kno not everyones a fan but its not expensive and if looks bad i can always take them out , my question is with my color combo what would look best? blue bulbs, hyper white , or red???

i think hyper white...especially with ur exterior paint and tan interior...hyper white for sure.

 

With my car I have blue led bulbs, but I have a ABP with black interior, and blue I don't think would look real good with a tan interior, I would say hyper white would be your best bet, or you could just buy a couple blue to see what it looks like, they are pretty cheap.

 

just try not to make it ricey, go with some hyper white

 

I have red interior lights that come on in my old car whenever I open my door and stuff but it's a real hassle if I was to ever look for something. My friend got hyper white bulbs from Hong Kong and it looks real cool. It's hella bright light like HIDs shining into your car haha. I would really recommend it because it looks cool + really useful. I have a WDP type S also. I would never put blue or any color of that sort in there because it'll screw up the color schemes in there and you'll turn that beautiful type-s into rice.

I went with hyper white PIAAs for all the interior bulbs and I love it.

 

I have hyper whites in my car.
If you want to see pics I can post 'em just have to take 'em at night or something. Looks better.

 

The hyperwhite LEDs look really nice. Don't forget the map lights to match. However, just as a warning, the LEDs are dimmer than regular bulbs, but the color makes up for it. Like for example, if you can read a map with only the dome light, you would probably need to turn on the map lights to make it just about as bright.

 

I have tan interior and just put in blue leds for the interior. I think it looks OK. You need at least a 9 led for the dome (I have a 4 led for the dome and it's a bit dim). Definitely not good for reading...etc and that's with 9 led map lights. I'm thinking of replacing the map lights with hyper white and leaving the dome and doors blue.

9 leds for a dome light? according to the part # the dome light is 31mm long and at that size ive only found a 4 led dome light, thanx for all the help guys i guess i will be going with the hyper whites so i dont rice out a wdp type s. if anyone has convincing pix that would be cool to post too, thanx

www.autolumination.com has 9LEDs for the dome as well as 9LEDs for the map and door lights. However, their hyperwhite bulbs are all kinda yellowish except for the 1156/1157 ones.

 

Check ebay, Tec-Toyz has 6 led dome for our car. I have 9 led for the doors and map lights. They are bright! Most likely they will not come out with a 9 led for the dome!
