SEMA: Comptech SuperCharger and no booth for the mystery mod
so I have the pix... First one back from Vegas hahaha...
Here's the thread from the Acura-CL board where I posted most of the pix:

So here's the scoop... of what I remember from talking with MikeB from Comptech.
This is still the prototype that they have on the car. It just was installed on this loaner CL-S from a Las Vegas Acura dealer.
It does run because they drove it over from the dealership and it was hella fast.
Oh by the way: Mystery Mod I guess the SHO guys found the sketchy Floridian from Rick Case but I sure as hell did not find a booth.
Something to really wet your pallet.

Three Wheelin'
Wow it is just what our engine needs to look serious.
I think its worth the money in looks alone.
Did they say what the gains are?
Where did the battery go?

so they lowered the battery and will be providing new mounts for the battery...
The battery will need to be replaced with a smaller one... MikeB was telling me that there would be "recommended" batteries which will fit.
All that are going... please ask MikeB some more questions about it I was tired and wanted to get home from a long "road trip"
You can get to the forum at SEMA... They have internet terminals for us... I posted on Monday from there...

I agree why no more info? Keeping secrets about HP numbers is a sin in my book. Guess if they had good numbers they would talk about them. If they have bad numbers and bad $$$$ you would say nothing. Just my 2 $.

Let me help you think about this one. comptec is the Premier SC maker for the NSX and S2000. The S2000 kit on a 11.X to 1 compression engine already at 120 hp/liter gives it a 100 hp bump. Lots of them have been sold. Now.. you put one on the TL S that has 10:1 compression and what 80 hp/liter. You can easily see a 100hp to 200hp gain from it without having to do any other modification. There are NSX's running around with 150K+ miles (lots of track time) on their Comptec Supercharger and still going. Comptec War's the S2000 charger for 2 years.
