Arrow Mystery Mod @ AutoCarParts

Just wanted to let you know, AutoCarParts will be selling the "Mystery Mod" for the V6.
Rick Case is going to be distributing this part threw us, and we will be receiving their first shipment.
They will be sending me a sample soon, and I will install it on my TL, and do a review.
Install instructions will also be added to the FAQ page.

Pre-ordering will then be added to the site, to get you inline
I will keep you updated

I still like to see what kind of side affects this mod would have on our cars. Sure a comptech supercharger would be great, if it wouldn't kill our trannies faster.

I'm sure there's gonna be a huge order for it when it first comes out. I hope you'll stock plenty so that we're not all back-ordered and waiting

Tim you ought to sell a starter package for new guys into modding their TL's:

Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
AEM Power Pullies
AEM Cold Air (or Comptech Ice Box)
Rick Case Cam Gears
High Flow Cat

All of those mods are reasonably priced, and have proven themselves to have great gains.

Total cost is prolly around $1000?

But how much hp would you gain? prolly something like 23-28 peak hp, and maybe 19 across the band. That's a very good start... and I would venture to say much better than just the headers (which cost about the same)

We probably discussed this earlier, but how does it affect factory warrenty? Also, does this "mystery mod" stick out in the engine bay so other people would notice it or does it look like a "stock part"? I'm was thinking about getting the rear wing spoiler from here cuz I just saved up, but hey in the words of Tim Taylor, "We need more POWER...hrhrhrhr"

I can't stop looking at those dynos. Check out that low end torque gain--that is amazing. That is exactly what our cars need. I really don't know how they did that without boring or forced injection. I've never seen a bolt on give low end torque like that. Damn. Can't wait.

could it be either a hi-flow cat or straight pipe? that would only take a few mins to install.

Bastard! I thought my sways would be the last mod I could add to my car and I'd be worry free from then on. Now we potentionally could get another "quick bolt on" mod in before Xmas? Maybe if I cut back on my haircuts for a few months....but I doubt I could live with that.

I'm beginning to wonder if it some how involves new sensors for the Intake Manifold and Throttle Body. The sensors should be pretty easy to change out, but I have no clue how you would get those type of horsepower gains from new sensors.

A new throttle body doesn' t make sense because that should improve top end power more than low end.

I say whoever (if anyone) guessed right, gets a free one.

Agreed. Since Tim says it's a quick bolt-on, that counts out cam gears, and crank pulley. No way in hell a fuel pressure riser is going to give these kind results either, so thats out. I'm running out of options here.....

First I thought it was cams but quick bolt on through that idea out. then I thought may be bigger throttle body, but the TypeS already has a bigger throttle body and why would syncivic get a patent on a new throttle body? since he's getting it patent it must be something new...
