ummmm just hold the map, menu, then cancel buttons down at the same time and you can get to the hidden menu...nothing really fun there, just some diagnostics menus.

i heard that there's a lil black box that some guy WAS selling before..which enabled you to play dvds in your navi.

ou sig..i got there one time..but i can't do it anymore..you have to press it exactly at the same time huh? or can i just hold cancel, then menu, then map button? too lazy to try now..car is too far away lol.

Yep, that's right. Dunno if it works for 99's, but for 00-03's, once you start the car (within a few minutes at least), hold down Menu, Map, and Cancel (all at once) for about 5-10 seconds. For best results, start the car, pass though the "legal info" screen, and then press the buttons.

Be careful with this diag screen, it's potentially very easy to screw something up. It's best to just look around and leave things be.
