Hi all,

I was looking to dump some BG-44k in my tank to clean fuel injectors based on all the great reviews I've read online. Just for the record I have a 2000 TL with no mods and 80+K miles. I was wondering if any of you have tried this product in our car. Also, I know this garage around the corner from my home that offers BG products and I was really interested in doing a transmission flush with their tranny fluid. Have any of you used this product? And if so what kind of results did you experience? Thanks!

 

I used a can of 44K in my 00 about 4 months ago after I put sheetz gas in the car. I ran a few tanks of better gas (Shell) and then dumped a can in during fill-up. I noticed a major difference in the engine and response when I switched gas, but didn't notice too much after the 44K (but then again, it doesn't hurt and chances are, Acura probably ran some sort of cleaner through the engine prior to me purchasing the car - which was about 11 months prior to all this). However, like you said, I've heard a lot of good things about 44K and I'm confident that it does a great job. I don't have an experience with the other BG stuff, but Pat Gauss raves about it (even though they are a sponsor for his show... I still think there's some actual truth behind it).
