The don't exist. No one makes one. If they did, I'd buy one in a minute.

I have asked my local hobby shop and many Japanese Toy shops and haven't found one yet.

My friends in Japan agree also.

Funny timing for this post. I had never thought about a TL model, but earlier I was at the mall and was somehow attracted to the hobby store hoping they would have a TL model. They didn't. Oh well!

Actually...there might be one in the near future. You just need the demand for it. Company is called Tech Deck. and it will be called Modifiers. I can't wait till the first batch of cars arrive at the toy stores! www.modifierscars.com Trust me..these aren't your normal scale model car. You can MODIFY IT! intake, exhaust, springs..rims..body kit...hood.interior..seats! oh man!!!

Being a devoted R/C racer for many years, I too am interested in a TL model. However, on a slightly different level. There is a R/C company that makes VERY good bodies for R/C cars. They are HPI http://www.hpiracing.com. They have a forum there that you can use to vote for specific body styles. They will make the body if enough people vote for it.

To give credit where it is due, juniorbean is the one who got the ball rolling on this forum. I just think it would be cool to actually race my car with a TL body on it. Please follow this link http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=28142 and it will tell you how you can vote.

I don't want to settle for this squished down RSX

Me, too! I have a Team Associated R/C with an Integra Type-R, BMW M5, and Accord 4-door (don't ask) bodies. I hear that the Stratus body is the way to go if you're into road-course racing...

I also have a 1:24 Skyline GT-R R/C too--hella cool making it do donuts on linoleum...

TLBaller - I understand, thanks for trying. I just used my ISP @home email addy. If your concerned about spam, I think they're pretty good about not selling your address... And yes, if enough people vote they WILL make the body.

tdoh - I attached a pic of my TC3 with a Stratus body. Racers seem to prefer the Stratus b/c of its neutral handling characteristics. I think the TL would offer more steering because of the shape of the nose.

bigman - If you do the R/C thing, your gonna have a blast. Very addictive and miles of smiles.

Man, that's a sweet TC3! I'm not as hardcore (i.e., I don't do tournaments--for starters, I'm still a newbie at the R/C thing) as you are; however, I've read alot about R/C racing and find it sorta amusing reading about the various tournaments and hearing about how practically all you see are Stratus bodies...

I have my TC3 geared for more torque instead of top end for now...even then it's fast enough; heck, I was messing with my cousin-in-laws one time and had them run a footrace against my TC3 to see if they could beat it. I sandbagged the first few runs to get their confidence up, then embarassed the heck out of them. I even let them get a running 20 yd. headstart against it and it still blew them away--even at only 90% throttle trim...

The real funny thing about it all was that they thought they could actually beat my R/C!!!
