Rims OR Tint

I asked this question earlier but do to the complexity or bad wording of the question I didn't get the answer I was look for. Anyways, basically what I'm going to ask is: Which should I get first Rims or Tint? I want to stay below or at $850. I can't really get both unless I get my stock rims refurbished for $75 a piece instead of the rims. What should I do?

Tint all the way. Me personally I would value the privacy over rims (dont like people looking in my car). Also tints is going to be a lot cheaper then rims.

if your not gonna drop it, dont get wheels. it looks stupid. might as well wait till you can afford rims+drop. get tints, your gonna want them anyways. they are cheaper by a lot.

Cheap wheels suck, quality wheels will cost you a little more but its worth it, the cheap one bend too easily! Get the tint first.

Rims plus drop is not mandatory. I have 18" rims w/o drop and it does not look stupid. Granted it would look better if it were droped, but we're only talking about an inch or so up front only. Don't feel like you HAVE to drop your car because you buy wheels.

If thats all you can spend then go for the tint. Like it was said before, cheap rims look like crap. Unless you just happen to have the set you love that fits in that budget. Make sure you get something you like and not something that just fits your budget.
