reverse sensing wire

i need some help finding the reverse sensing wire for a 99 acura tl. trying to hook up a rear view camera. thanks

Get a light tester (cheap). It will take 5 mins

Your transmission range switch is on the transmission. The white wire is the reverse. It goes to a relay then to reverse lights. Not sure but I think taping anywhere between the relay and bulb should be enough to turn on camera.

thats correct
must be AFTER the relay--thats where power actually comes out from after fuse protection

grab the white wire anywhere from there to the back up bulbs- thats an easy place to access the wires,,the bulb~

12 volt test probe or multimeter for numerous elect tests is a smart buy for every toolbox
5 bucks at parts store, harbor freight gives $4 multi meter away all the time, ck coupons

congrats on investing in safety with a camera!

Can't tell 12volts with a test light.

The wire color should be green/black. You probably have a trailer connector behind the carpet in the left rear quarter. The white wire is from fuse to switch, don't mess with it.
