So I took my car in for a full inspection. I was told i need a new power steering pump and front and rear engine seals.

All for only 2k.

Now I have a small leak somewere in power steering for about a year. The fluid only goes from top fill to bottom fill line every year. So its not that bad. Is this a easy fix at home?

 

it may need a pump/inner seal or a ps hose
clean off everything and watch for leak source

hows your engine oil loss?
the front/crank seal is possible,,whats the mileage? 105 service done?
thats going to be done again, plus some extra work to get to the front main seal
Can you see oil there? under car?

rear main: oil from or inside the inspection plate -under trans where it joins the engine?

rear main -you have to remove the transmission from the car, then another part, then finally the 10 dollar seal,,and 4-6 hours labor!!

get a 2nd opinion from a private shop
remember this is auto repairs worst time of year- slowest time- every job must bring in the max amount of money/profit margin possible
