Replacing a burned-out bulb...
im guessing HID.. if thats it, its kinda a pain in the ass if you ask me. I find it easier to take the bumper off, and unbolting the headlight, gotta unhook the cables on it, then take the torx screw out and unscrew it..
x2 take me 2 min to take the bumper off and then about another 2 min or so to take the head light out, and its easier to put the bulb in bc u have to get in perfect.
Took me about 10 minutes without taking off the bumper or anything...luckily it was very easy and everything snapped in place...but I noticed one of the lights was slightly slightly off so I tried to fix it, now the gay pin doesn't clip in...so It's a pain in the ass. I hate those pins. I used to hate doing it on my civic too. Fucking pissed.....I wonder how much the dealer charges to replace it for ya.....last time I broke the pin on my civic. (not on purpose)

After you do it once it's not that hard. You just have to know how to move the pin so it unhooks, then flip it all the way up (it'll stay up there and out of the way). When you have the bulb out, flip the pin down so you can see how it hooks at the bottom so you can get a better idea of how to do it since you can't see what you are hooking when the bulb is in there.

you shouldn't need to. Not sure how much difference a 99-01 engine bay is compared to a TLS but last time I saw one, it way less compact than mine lol. I had plenty of space to change out my bulbs. well I had to remove my comptech icebox cover, but that's aftermarket and it takes up way more room than a CAI or Stock airbox.
