Remove the chrome finish or not?
Remove the chrome finish or not?
One of my fogs got water damage and when I drilled a hole and drained/cleaned it I noticed that the chrome finish had been worn away.
So the question is - Should I use some sort of product to totally remove the finish in both fogs or figure out a way to open up the for and repaint it with some chrome paint?

This is actually something I might have to deal with in the near future. One of my fogs is cracked with a lot of condensation inside and I don't know what the condition of the chrome in there is. I'll be removing them and taking a look as soon as my lexan lenses arrive, but in case the chrome is FUBAR'd, there's no real way to fix it?
Dang.. Well I guess I'll be posting up a new set of civic fog wires and the right fog housing in the black market as soon as I get the new ones.. More money spent on little problems
