Tl's key fob looks pretty old and it's brittle so is there anyway to redesign it to make it look better.

 

you can buy a new one- but it has to be the same frequency code to work- they make a few different ones between the years

The remote is under the "Combination Switch" schematic of a parts supplier like acuraoemparts.com.
My 2000TL uses the 72147-S0K-A02 TRANSMITTER ASSY., KEYLESS.
I can use google to pull up some hits, but buying from a dealership parts department might be best for you.
