My rear sub is definitely blown, because whenever I put the bass up, it gives off a really bad rattle and crappy sound. I was just wondering if any of you have had this problem and if it can be fixed under waranty. BTW, my TL-S only has 8,500 miles on it.

 

Our sub is pretty crappy to begin...... make sure that it's not the rattle from the trunk, or other interior parts.

And it depends on the music that you are playing........ Some of them cause more distortion then others..........

 

My sub rattles but its the panel that its sitting on. I can pinpoint the rattle but I don't know how to fix it. It stops when I am in the trunk and I push up on the panel the sub is on. ANyone know? Would dinomating it help?

I HAVE HAD (2) 12 KAPPAS FOR A WHILE NOW, ACCIDENTLY BROKE MY STOCK SUB SO I DISCONECTED IT AND IT SOUND TWICE AS GOOD, FIGURE THAT. MAYBE I AM GETTING A BETTER SIGNAL NOW BECAUSE I AM RUNNING THE HIGH TO LOW CONVERTER STRIGHT OFF OF IT. SO I LIKE IT BETTER.

If you have not altered the factory audio system in anyway its covered under warranty.
