Rear Rotors
Good question, if the front are warped, your steering wheel will shake like crazy when you break as your speed comes down. As for the rear, i dont think the rear rotors ever tend to warp. Mainly the front.
There have been several recent failures of the rear caliper for gen2ers
fsttyms1 had a rear caliper siezed in the on position, baked his EBC racing pads, like smoke coming from the brakes
I have been chasing a pulsing and brake shake, found the lower edge on inside of rear rotor not being touched by pad- crooked pressure against pad from piston jam-
put new calipers on today and going for test drive next
More likely than-than warped rear rotor, unless you super drive the car and dont let it cool off before stopping
To test- find a small hill and put in nuetral- feel and hear how it rolls backwards- or doesnt!

i had a pretty noticeable vibration accompanied with some distinctive noise from 30-25 miles an hour while i was braking. once i changed the fronts i knew it had to be the rears. it wasn't obvious to me that it was coming from the rear at first but i didn't do any real experimentation to find out either.
thanks guy i guess my rear rotors are warped, those are the exact symptoms i have...pulsating in wheel and a vibration noise from the rear. this weekend i am changing that rear rotors and pads. thanks

Its fairly easy- 2 bolts- to remove to rear caliper and pull the pads to inspect them and the inside of the rotor- the wear pattern will tell you many things before buying parts- so you buy everything and/or only what you need
I am pushing the caliper theory because I had the prob with one set of new rear rotors- and tried another new set by different maker and saw the inside pad was only working halfway across- no contact on half the pad surface to the rotor- while the outside pad was in full contact and working extra hard to stop the car~
want to talk pulsing vibration?!!!

when mine were warped, you could hear it scraping...like everytime it came around to one spot, it would sound like the brake pad scraping against the rotor...so the sound definitely helps..
