"Raked" look with Eibach? H&R?

What up y'all.

I really liked the raked look that the Comptech springs provide, but do the H&R's or Eibach's achieve that raked look as well? I'm concerned about all the comptech spring corrosion drama going on. It's hard to tell from some of the pics if Eibachs or H&R would give me that look.

Not sure if it would affect me though because I have a daily driver Accord and floss the TL for going out at night , weekends or long trips. Do you think if I got comptechs I would have an issue since I don't drive it that often? Plus, I live in a non road salting state.

Plus, I want my ride to stay as close to stock as possible? Is Comptech my best bet?

Not sure what you mean by the raked look. Eibach Prokit will give a 2.1 inch up front and 1.7 in the back. I have the Prokit drop and I love it. Its about 2 inch drop all around. I had Eibach's on my 96 Accord also. So thatz why I went with then Eibach over the Comptech Springs glad I did. I was not too into H & R sport springs because the drop is like 1.5 inches from what I remember. I wanted to get ride of the wheel well gap and also not go for the slammed look either.

Eibach Pro-Kit is the way to go. I went with it on my Civic and am looking to do it on my TL in the future if i decide to drop it. Haven't heard much about any other brand besides H&R but really don't care to after using Eibach IMO.

i got the H&R sport springs. its about a 1.5 drop. but you wont get the raked look unless you get the kit thats made for the accord. model number 51858 is for the TL and wont give you the raked looks. and why would you want that look? why wouldnt you want a even look?

Sorry, the raked look is when the front end sits slightly lower than the back end. Similar to Audi's and BMW's.

The H&R Race springs will give you that "raked" look (F: 2.2", R: 1.75). Something to consider if you are planning to get springs. Part number for H&R Race springs for the TL is: 51859-88

damn whats up with that raked look craze. why would you want your car to sit uneven it looks weird too!

i guess that's a matter of personal preference...

Well, I liked the raked look because it gives the car unique look, more similar to BMW and Audi cars. NOt only that, I had Eibachs on my old Accord. After a year or two, the back end started to sag once the springs settled further down. So, by having the raked look, eventually the car would sit even after the springs settled.

Well, after extensive research on this issue on the A-TL and C-TL forums, I am going with H&R Sport (#50103). This seems to be the closest thing to the Comptech Drop and almost 1/2 the price. About $195 shipped through car domain dot com. This H&R drop gives the car a raked look, but not quite as much as the comptech drop.

Comptech is going through way too much drama as we all have seen on the Sticky thread that is posted.
