Radiator Fan Squeal

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a high pitched squeal under the hood when the radiator fans kick-in. My 99TL has about 99,000 miles and has had all scheduled maintenance. Could this be impending doom for one of the belts? Or is it a simpler issue? Thanks!

Belt

Check the belt for any dry spots or cracks. Sometimes its as simple as adjusting the belt tentioner. Not too tight of course. If the belts are originals check the replacementschedule in the manual.

You cant adjust the tensioner it's spring loaded.

belt

Isn't the radiator fan ELECTRIC?? It's not belt driven so it can't be your belt. Maybe when your A/C compressor engages.
