quick suspension question

I have changed out everything in the front end over the last year. The ride has improved much! but i still feel it is rougher over the bumps than it should be, am i missing something else i that could help?
I have done - upper and lower control arms,
new sway bar end links and bushings
tie rods
shocks and all the parts - new top hats, rubbers, everything on the strut assembly...
pretty much everything but springs.

let the new parts break in. i dought that your springs would make the ride rougher.

And what are you comparing this too to make you think its rougher than normal?

i dont know, just when it i was newer. it just seems like it is a little rough over bumps and i feel like i get some bad body flex front to back like it "dances" over the bumps....

How do you know its body flex?
Tires properly inflated? Maybe you just have cheap tires or tires with a soft sidewall?
Cusco lower brace and upperstrut bar made a difference on stock(ish) suspension and helped with that "dancing" feeling for me over bumps at highway speed.

you can just feel the body flexing in different directions when its hitting the bumps. not a huge deal but i just know it used to take the bumps better and ithought after all these new parts it would be back again buts its a little harsh.
Tires you say huh? thats a big possibility, i hate them, i had no money when i bought them and needed them quick - i ended up with Hankook, low profiles. think thats the reason?

what shocks is the big question- that will tell ride comfort range- and the tires

To make it less twitchy get the Cusco lower frame brace- MrHeelToe carries them
about 85 bucks iirc
Its a cross bar that goes from a main frame bolt across to the other side and matching bolt. Its right where the frame rails split into a wide cradle for the engine and trans- a good place to add suppport.
It also puts the lower suspension mounts at a fixed point relative to each other, so when you go in the corner it doesnt feel like its opposite roll to the passenger, and for the driver it means instant lane change, makes driving fun!

The only drawback to it is for extreme lowered cars and cities with high manhole covers on just repaved street~- It sits slighlty lower than the cat convertor- but if it takes a hit minor (scrapes happen on lowered cars) or major- it saved the cat, and cost far less
than what it just protected

I call KYB Kills Your Back
others disagree with me, but if you want smooth ride, they are more performance type.

go big and get tein ss or other shocks with multiple dampening rates that you can adjust.
I have to take a bad freeway today, so the fronts are getting quickly reset 2 clicks softer to compensate and keep the interior feel smooth. Thats a feature I really enjoy!!
