I just ordered the AEM intake without the Bypass. I was wondering how many people have this setup in their car. By that I mean the intake WITHOUT the bypass!!! And does anyone know of anyone that has even gotten Hydrolock b/c they didn't have bypass? I haven't seen one case and I heard don't bother with the bypass b/c you have the same chance of getting hydrolock with the stock intake as with the AEM with no bypass

Anyway, I purchased the by-pass just for piece of mind. My intake will be on all year round, and since we get all 4 seasons up here (even though winter decided not to come this year), I went for it. For $40 I figured I'd protect my $6000 (or whatever it costs) engine... regardless of how remote the chances of hydrolock are. As for the CAI vs. Stock intake, that's not true. The stock intake doesn't have the filter by the fog light like the CAI does, so the chances would be higher with the CAI. The overal chance, even with the CAI is very low, but I did it anyway, just in case.

So mark down one (1) for bypass.

at the bottom of a new topic screen it asks you if you want to add a poll. It's under where the Show Signature and Attach File options are. I believe it asks how many responses you want, then you get to type them in. Once you submit the new topic it adds the poll. I can start a new topic and close this if you'd like, or you can give it a shot.... your call....

FYI, it was under the Attach File box. It says.. Add Poll, then there's a box to check Yes. Once you do that it lets you setup the poll. It's possible that this feature is only available to Gold and Premium Members. I'm not sure, but I did it for you anyway. I'll have to check on that for my info......
