Problem with SS-P install?
Problem with SS-P install?
The mechs' did a great job. Hell the EDFC Comes out of the steering wheel hole and screwed right into a spot undearneath the wheel+above legroom.
JOb wel ldone to them. THe problem I have is the drop and the flex of my coils.
I just floored it in this area and then all of a sudden I hear a ding and My exhaust got a scratch on it. Thank god there were no holes or anyhing but man that click scared the freakin hell out of me. I'm running hte stock 17's on my TL-s, but I have to ask you guys this question is there any way to change the drop on my coils?
Also the stiffest doesnt seem to be the STIFFEST, but when I ride over a sewer cap I do feel the ridges so I thought that was a good indication, but if they were as stiff as supopsed to be (checked, went to 18 then down all the way and it won't make that cool little tune sound after 0) wouldn't they not allow my car to drop that low? I thought 0 meant like NO FLEX whatsoever, this disappoints me.
Anyways, anyone who has the SS or SS-ps, can you please tell me how to adjust the drop on my coils so I can get put back to stock? WOuld help when my CE28's come
THanks.

It's in the manual. Use the perch tools that came with the kit. Each one spins the spring perch in opposite directions and loosens them. Then you spin 'em to the desired position, then tighten them.
