Positive Camber problem!

Here's the background. My father messed up one front rim by hitting a curb once and i dipped into a crater destroying yet another rim and the swaybar end link a week after. I took it to the dealer and they the 105k service (timing etc etc) fixed the sway bay end link and mentioned something about the camber...i aligned the car and thought nothing of it.

Few weeks ago I put Nex SS coilovers on and decided it was too stiff so i took them off and put the car back to stock w/ the exception of 18" rims and now my camber WAAAY out of spec. i must over a degree or two of POSITIVE camber.

i checked and there's no way to adjust camber on the TL so now what?? i dont see anything bent or out of place. i know a camber kit might fix this, but okay, what if something's messed up and the camber kit fix makes it worse. Any ideas or suggestions please post.

thanks,
-el etxx

look at or have the upper and lower control arms looked at to see if bent.

i took a look at it today and found that neither of the control arms were bent...atleast not visually apparent. I compared both sides and even looked at the vertical'ish) brackets that hold the upper control arm and those are not bent either.

So i might just have to take it to Acura and have them figure out he problem. If there's something bent i'll probably replace myself and get that ingall upper control arm that has a good range for camber adjustment on it...then get an alignment for the 4th time in a month! good thing i bough that Tire Plus three year alignment plan they have

If you have any camber issues, something has to be bent somewhere since the TL doesnt have any adjustments for it. if you have positive id say something in the lower arm (and how much positive do you have) a very small bend may not be very visable with out taking off to compare

exactly my thoughs kris. the positive camber is definetly visible...when i took the tire off, i even rolled it and it had trouble standing up straight. (3week old tires).

So i believe i'll just replace both lower control arms. seems like an easy job. Now, what are the chances the upper control arms bent as well? atleast tell me your opinion beucase i have no problem taking them off and installing an xxx camber kit and be done with it...i'm gonna re-lower the car in the very near future anyways. Thanks a lot man. i appreciate this.

I would replace just the 1 lower arm (unless both hit it. Only one side should be effected. Id say that the upper may be fine if you have positive camber.
