Part# 76400-SEP-A02ZA

Hi fellow ziners, I am shopping for a rear view mirror for 99 tl. Can anyone suggest a place to buy a new one for a decent price? I have looked at some used one and I think it won't be a good idea to get used since it's not guaranteed to last. Thanks guys

What Guarantees you that an Aftermarket NEW Replacement will not be a decade old Stock? IMO if you wanna keep it "Secure" go with New OEM ($$$) that way it will be guaranteed to be the new design.

see our section `The Black Market` - `sponsored sales` section
we have a few dealer vendors that hook us up for 75-80$ on the mirror= that's a good price!
used one no way!- likely old ones with the problem, brand new ones are made differently
if you don't see the mirror ad in their threads use search for it in Sponsored Sales, or look at the `vendor` list link- call a few and tell them you are from acurazine to get special unlisted price discounts!!

did you look in the sponsored sales threads for the mirror postings? even it it looks like a special has expired- contact the place- most will honor anything they have posted here
always mention that acurazine sent you!!

No luck 01tl4tl. I emailed one of the vendors that last sold the mirror for $72 or so and now they are selling it for $90 or so. They said for acurazine member it's 5% discount. I asked them if they will honor $72 price and they haven't emailed me back.

From: SE Mass --- > Central VA --- > SE Mass
$83.41 at Bernardiparts.com
$80.21 at dchautomotiveparts.com

Bernardi is in MA and dch is in CA, so shipping to you (where ever you are) may make a difference.

I know there were 2 places with mirror threads 75 and 80- a few years ago, a five or 10 buck increase in that time is realistic
see the vendor pop ups that appear on here as banner ads?- delray acura just as an example, a place in santa rosa ca hooks us up too
25-30% off for ziners

when you call the 800 number its their dime, so call our sponsoring vendors!- try every dealer if you have to!

if you have tinted rear window- the acura mirror is of no value = doesn't respond to car lights behind you. cant see them

if all you need is a mirror to satisfy the law or your spouse, get a small aftermarket and mount up high on the windshied- up and away from your view of the apex!!

Yeah! The windows are tinted. I was wondering if it is possible to open up the mirror and drain the liquid and put everything back together?

Just get a regular mirror or find one at a salvage yard from a Honda product.
There may be others that will also fit.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO you cannot open the mirror= exposing its HAZMAT liquid inside
That's the problem with them!
in your case of tinted rear- any basic Honda car or $10 aftermarket mirror at parts store will do

expect any used or junkyard unit for TL to be the old design with hazmat inside
New design is different maker and material inside

@01tl4tl thanks for the clarification. I just bought a used mirror for $ 40.24 including shipping. It's from a 07 acura tl. Do those units have problem as well?

I replaced my mirror today. I ran into a problem though, removing mirror was a breeze but I was sliding the new mirror from dashboard towards the roof. It was was't standing tight in the bracket. So I decided to slide the mirror from roof towards the dash. It is standing in the bracket firmly. Can anyone confirm what's the right way to slide the mirror into place? thanks

did you read the mirror install diy? do the parts match exactly? sometimes the window part is different

you would need to look in gen3 area for mirror prob to know how long it continued
Eventually a new maker was brought into the situation- with different non toxic internals
