Are our cars ricers?

Are our cars ricers?
Look here at my high school ive beatin all these cars such as 02 firebird, dodge neon, 03 mustang, 67 camaro, and 60sumthin chevelle. They all got rims and stuff on the exterior to make them look tough and a most of them have exhaust and intakes. I raced them all and won. They hate my ass and call me ricer boy because i beat them in a so called "Front wheel drive 4 door vtech ricer family sedan" thats literally what they call my car. My car is completely stock. WTF? I have an ATLP exhaust coming in soon will it make me more of a ricer? Exactly what is a ricer? something made in japan?

Urban Dictionary, does not say acura Tl's are rice
ricer :
(Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)
A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):
- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.
The "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.
Honda Civics with big spoilers and 4" exhaust tips are considered to be ricers.

^Lol good one, and yea watch out for some of them older muscle cars, my first car was a 66 Stang with a 428 Cobra Jet with a Tremec T5 and theres no way in hell my TL would touch it. I actually used to hate Civics and imports till i bought a 93 4dr Civic and turbod it and changed my whole view, and now i love my TL. But i wouldnt listen to anything people say bout your car theyre just jealous, i complimented a guys civic the other day and he told me 4 doors are gay.

I think any car can be a ricer or can be a clean machine.. It is all about what you do to it. If you go out, buy the ricey sarona body kit, and do a whole bunch of mods to make it look fast and then do stuff like underglow, but don't actually touch the engine, it can be rice.. spoilers and 4-5+inch exhausts are usually the easiest way to spot it, but the paintjob can too... I saw a tl for sale the other day that had a 2 or 3 tone paintjob and was pretty riced out..
That being said, just because a car is a honda civic does NOT make it a ricer, though a lot of them are, there are some that are done properly.
but always just do what you want, cuz at the end of the day it is your car....

Another Young'en that thinks the TL is a "fast" car..
How many times to I have to tell you guys a 15 second 1/4 mile car is not "FAST"
I got smokes by Many mustang GT's and Firebirds and trans ams V8's at englishtown when I say smoked I mean like a second..
I think i was running 14.6 and they where in the high 13's
