That sucks!!! I thought that we were at about 40!?! We only have 22 so far!!
Man!! Hella people talk about buying it...but none of them are....look anyone in the Bay Area that needs it installed...I'll get my friend to do it after he does mine...it's not that hard. Man, you guys paid so much for a TL and don't want something to spice up the othewise drab interior....

This is ironic, I know. I was looking at an Audi's dash while I was at a stop light. I looked left and was able to get a good glance. All I saw was red dots and numbers, but they looked agressive. I then looked at mine and saw my plane, gauges and thought to myself damn, this looks cheep. The design is cool, but the colors are just too lame, they don't come at you to say groul, when you look at them. People, buy the gauges already, the original gauges are lame. Your car performs very well agains the competition, but the gauges that reflect that look weak. Man realize that laready and stop being cheap. On another note, I thought we had more than thirty already, per Nate's count. The ebay thing is not doing well because people just don't trust buying it without a picture of the actual gauges. If we had the actual pictures I think all 50 would have sold within a few weeks.

kikazcl97 on the CL board has his installed...it looks exactly like ours. Silver Face and blue with red glow in the dark!! According to the poll...we're still at 22.

I still have a question about whether the gages have been manufactured yet? Does anyone know? Or are we waiting for 50 orders before the manufacturer will even start?

i believe they will not be made until all 50 are ordered. do yourself a favor a don't wait just order it. then we'll hit 50 faster and the few of us will be driving around with some bad ass gauges.

I believe they are made and are waiting to be shipped to the US from Taiwan once we hit 50 and 4IG gets paid. I will verify this.

I just bought a set. I have a 2002 TL, so I hope they work. I think they will look great, and I figure if they don't work with the 2002, or I don't like them, I can re-sell them. I was a bit worried about the install, but I figure there is enough help on this site to get good instructions.

Has anyone tried the fit in the 99s? know you dont have yet put sure its the same as one of you guys putting Type-S gauges in a 99'. Has anyone did that? How did that turn out?

From Nate's last count of 32, I believe we have had 8 more orders. That's assuing everyone bought one who said they did since Nate's last count. Hey Nate, can we confirm the total orders.

BTW I've been noticing people already trying to set up a buy from those who ordered more than one set. Please don't make deals with these people yet. If they want the gauges they can buy them here. Selling additional sets now will only slow us down.

I think if Nate's confirms we are in the 40's, people will start to buy additional sets, just so they can get their gauges in. Also, thos who have been scared of losing their money because of the 50 orders requirement will jump in when we get close.

Nate if you can confirm a count in the 40's, I think we will have our 50 by the end of the week.

Are you guys still selling the gauges? I'm still highly interested.. I think they look great. But, would like to see ACTUAL pics for the 2002 TL type S before I buy. Any info?

No one has pics of the actual gauges. The gauges will not be manufactured until we receive 50 orders. Big Ped has nice sample pics on page 15 of the post.

Brandon at HIDVision has been hard to get ahold of. I believe HIDVision recently merged with 4IG and he is having problems with his email. I've called him twice but he didn't answer. No worries though, I'll call him again Monday and if he doesn't answer this time I'll leave a message.

yes, you can send by check to the address on the first page. ABout the HIDvision. I email them, and nate are right. They are merge with other company. Brandnon lee something say he will look into how many order we have.

Update!

HID Vision has now become 4IG USA. I wanted to get ahold of Brandon at HID Vision and I had thought he merged with 4IG... so I called 4IG and guess who answered the phone!? I BS'ed with him for about 30 minutes about cars and shat. I now have him on IM so I can harass him daily on the count.

He said he thought the last he had checked we were at 39 or 40! He said he would dig through everything and give an exact count tomorrow. Damnit I can almost taste those gauges!
