Talking Order indiglo gauges now!!!

I have shippped gauges to a company called HID Vision and somewhere right now in Taiwan they are being created for the 2000-2001 Acura TL. Production should be complete by early-to-mid May. This is a group buy so before HID Vision can ship these gauges to us they require 50 orders to be paid for.

Please note: Currently these gauges are only known to fit the 2000-2001 Acura TL. It is unclear whether or not these gauges will be made for the 1999 TL at this time. I will keep in touch with the 1999 TL owners and let them know ASAP. All other TL owners, I'm sorry but these gauges will not work for your cars. Feel free to contact HID Vision about having reverse indiglo gauges made.

The cost is $80.00 shipped. Contact HID Vision about shipping outside the US. Send the money with either PayPal or a Money Order. Note: No gauges will be shipped out until 50 orders are paid for.

Click here to pay with PayPal:
<form action="https://secure.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="POST" target="_blank"><input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick"><input type="hidden" name="business" value="Sales@HIDVision.com"><input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="2000-2001 Acura TL Reverse Indiglo Gauges"><input type="hidden" name="amount" value="$80.00"><input type="hidden" name="shipping" value="0"><input type="image" src="https://www2.fatcow.com/autoca/images/paypal.gif" width=62 height=32 name="submit">
</form>

Or send a Money Order for $80 to:

HID Vision
951 Old County Rd #308
Belmont, CA 94002

Here is a pic of the same type of gauges being made for our cars. The blue and red will match our red gauge needles nicely. This pic is of gauges for an Accord V6. The actual gauges for our cars will be similiar in design but will not say anything stupid like "Racing Fuel Only" and will have markings equivelant to the OEM gauges.

These gauges are two tone: the blue ring you see around the gauges in the pic above can be changed from green to blue.

Order now! The sooner you order, the sooner we get gauges! This group buy is the only way you are ever going to get these gauges so don't miss out!

Please reply to this thread that you have paid so we know when we've hit 50!

Disclaimer: I am in no way making any profit from the sale of these gauges.

I've paid!

Here's a pic of the gauges in daylight. They have a titanium silver finish to them rather than a plain white face.

As you can see, the silver color of the gauges is the same color as the Compaq Presario notebook they are laying on.

Here is a quote from HID Vision about the silver faced gauges:

WOW, that is all i can say, i just recieved accords in silver. All i can say is im proud to sell 4iG gauges. They look like a brush aluminum color, and they are badass at night.

Install should be pretty easy, though you have to be careful when you slip the gauge faces over the gauge needles. Installation should not be a problem.

2 so far! Lets see some more orders!

We will reach 50. No doubt about that. I am sorry but I have found out that HID Vision will not refund any of the money. So the simple answer is that we just continue to wait until we get 50 people so we get our gauges. We will get our gauges!!!

We're up to 3! Get your orders in!

No, they light up red and blue. Thats the only way the company makes them. But they will look very classy and the red will match our red gauge needles.

Do you have a picture of them lit up? I can't see the first picture, only the dreaded "X".

Question

ok i just have few question before i even whip out my loots, so the pic is only an example, not the actual gauge? i see extra wiring at the end of the gauges is that normal there(just simple plug in), or is that another cut this and wire that?

Yes the pics are only an example. Gauges for our car will look the same except they will have the correct markings. The extra wire is where the gauges plug in and is covered by the dash.

I am arguing with HID Vision -- they don't want to make gauges for the 99s. My argument is that the only difference is the 1999s have 4 gears and the 00-01s have 5. That means the 99s have one less lighted gear box on the tachometer. Our gauges are 3 pieces -- tach, speedo, and fuel. So its just a matter of making 1/3 different.

We'll see how it goes... I hate to say it but it looks slim. HID Vision is a reseller for a company called 4IG who is actually making the gauges. If 4IG doesn't want to make gauges for the 99, there is nothing HID Vision can do. 4IG refuses to work with anyone who is not a reseller, I already tried that.

The gauges being made for the 00-01 should fit the 1999s, however there will be 5 gear boxes on the tachometer. I know, it sucks , but if you really wanted indiglos...

There was a misunderstanding where HID Vision thought the gears were displayed only on the digital LCD screen (for sportshift).

C'mon people! Over 60 of you emailed me saying you were interested in getting these gauges. Now lets do it! Send in your $80! There are few mods you can do for $80 and this is your only chance to get these gauges! Once this group buy is over if you want these gauges you will have to gather another 50 people!

I'm in... but first I wanna know how difficult it's going to be to install these things. I mean I dont want to screw my whole dash up to put some cool lights in place.

Install should be easy. A few screws to get at the gauges, carefully slip the indiglo faces over the gauge needles and you're done.

So we just have to remove the glass off the dash and place these gages right over the existing ones? The needle shaft isnt very long, so if you put these on top is there gonna be enough room for the needle to clear? Otherwise our needle will be stuck and wont move.

Heard that if you change your gauges it can mess up your needles. Its also real expensive to recal your dials.

Tat1983, awesome! And I agree... you guys will spend $600 on exhaust, $500 on a steering wheel, why not spend $80 on some kick ass gauges?

You can't get the needles off our gauges, if you try you WILL break them. These indiglo gauges are overlays, they just slip on over the gauge needles. No need to recalibrate anything.

SilverBullet, I'll tell you when you buy indiglo gauges.
