They are only making these for the 2000-2001 TLs.
JeffyTL, the markings on these gauge overlays are going to have OEM 2000-2001 TL markings. I am 99.99% sure these will fit on 2002 TLs, however you will have 00-01 markings which means no VSA light and a slightly different redline. Big Ped has a 2002 and he is ordering these bad boys.
No bids on the auction yet.

JeffyTL, I ordered two sets of gauges. I think that VSA is something specific to the TL Type S, which is the one I have. With that said, for may car, the only difference with the Indiglo Gauges is that the redline will start at 6500rpms rather than 6900 (Type S only). Additionally, the VSA light will be covered up because it's in a different location (VSA is only on Type S).
However, as I mentioned before, these are the specs and slight differences I'll have with my TL Type S. I think that the 2002 TL (not the Type S) gauges are exactly the same as the 2000-01s because the engine is the same (redline stays the same at 6500rpms) and there is no VSA. I'm almost sure that VSA is one of the extra emmenities included in the Type S that are not included in the regular 02 TL. I'm not 100% sure but just about 99.9% sure. The best thing for you to do is call an Acura dealer and ask them if the 2002 TL and 2001 TL gauges are the same. Write back and let us know what they said so that we can better inform perspective buyers out there.

You can see if the markings are similiar for the CL but to see if the mounting points for the gauges are the same you'd probably have to take out your gauges (probably similiar to this) and compare them to a gauge cluster from an 00-02 TL. Or you could just buy a set (its only $80 ) and if it doesn't fit your CL when you get it you can sell it to a TL owner for a small profit.

Hey there nate,
I am from the CL bord and i have a few questions. Are the gusges for the Type S or not? What happens to the $80 if you dont get the 50 orders...refund or is it lost? What is the count at now?

NOLACLS, the gauges have the specs for the TL not the TLS. There may be some minor cosmetic differences. FOr sure the redline is going to start at 6500 rather than 6900 like in your Type S, and the VSA light might be covered up. However, I have a 2002 TL Type S and I bought two sets. I don't really care too much about a few redline notches (a lot of ladies don't know about redlines) and the VSA light only comes on for like 2 seconds as part of the systems check when you turn on the engine. Other than that, the VSA light is useless. I don't care about these minor details, what is important to me is that the gauges are badass and they are going to look great in my new TLS. I highly recommend that you consider purchasing a set. If you don't like them (which, I highly doubt) it's only $80 and you can always sell them to a forum menber at the CL or TL sites or even one of your friends.

Folks for a better assessment, check this out:
Now emagine these gauges below (TLS), with two tone and indiglo properties like the immage below it. This is how our badass gauges will look like:
[B]this is what the TL-S guages look like.
Imagine them something like this:
Now that's how we are going to kick ass when we get our gauges.
Big Ped
WDP/Ebony TLS W/navi 26 piece wood package and mud guards.

Can a 2000, 2001 or 2002 TL owner please post a picture of their TL Gauges so that we can direcly compare the difference between the TL and TLS gauges. The only differences I remember noting, based on severla visits to the dealer are the red line and the VSA light. If a picture is not available, can someone confirm the differences. I think an answer to this question would clarify a lot of things and help people make up their minds and help us finalize our orders. Thanks for your help, we want our indiglos ASAP.

OK,
I want to order, but I need to know...
Is it going to be easy enough to install, and then uninstall when I turn my '99 lease back in? I think $80 is a WICKED good price for originality (in the area at least!). I want to order them, but am a little nervous about removing my dash.
Bottom line; tell me your honest opinion, since it is only $80. And should I just respond to the auction on eBay, and pay you, them, who!?!
Thanks.

Big Ped, I will take a pic of my OEM gauges ASAP.
The install should go pretty easy. Look how to get at your gauges here. Uninstall should be just as easy. The most complicated part is giving power to your gauges. I am sure that will be simple and I will post full instructions with step by step pictures when the time comes.

Whether you pay via ebay or via this thread, the payments are going to go through PayPal to the HID vision account, so it doesn't really matter. As far as installation, several people have posted installation instructions on this thread. Additionally, they have mentioned that the installation shouldn't take very long. Plus I'm sure when we get them, people will post pictures of their instal, how they did it and how long it took. That's what I'm counting on. I don't know how to do stuff like that. I may just have my friend put it in for me.
