Ive run systems of greater than 2k watts on the red no issues. Either will work Yellow will be better but most likely not needed with the cap

This is just for you to get an idea:
- Red: Quick drain, but quick recharge.

- Yellow: Slow drain, and slow recharge.

Quick, comparing to optima models; of course these red yellow batteries outperform other batteries. They have diff drain cycles.

So, either one will work, whatever suit your needs., and Red is cheaper. You choosing the best of the best. it can't be wrong whatever you choose.

I'm getting me a red top either today or tomorrow since the battery on my car has been there since the day it was born. Didn't notice that until my mechanic told me because I rarely check the battery other then all that corrosion built up on it and so I finally looked at the battery and that Honda sticker was on along with the AC DELCO. So after doing a search about car batteries and Optima's I figured Optima is the way to go since heck if your going to spend a 100 might as well spent 80 more for something somewhat considered better. Question is the class size as our TL's are class 24 and what I've read here is that 34/78 with the lid on the bottom works fine or I believe FSTTYMS1 uses a 75/25 if I'm not mistaken. Now would the 25's work also?

Go figured I always get a number or two wrong. I think its autozone time because all that nasty gunk is building up near my battery terminals anyway. I guess 34/78 it is or maybe 75/35

If you're going to change your battery anyways why don't you get some nice terminals and change your ground wires in the meantime. I guarntee you if you do your car will start much faster, your stereo will sound clearer and a little stronger and your headlights come on quicker. Is a cheap easy mod.

So far so good even though I don't really notice much. Then again probably because I am a noob. All I knew was that my battery had to go since it is all gunked up with all that corrosion. Heck the bolts were so hard to get off on the negative connector that my friend and I just plucked off the connector straight off by wiggling it around and then when it came time to reconnect it, we just plucked it right back in and tried to tighten a corroded/rusted bolt(used WD-50 still no result). Hopefully the connector doesn't like miraculously pop off one of these days

Dont know what your thinking your going to see different or expect. Cold weather will be where you would see the biggest difference.

Also thats why we recommended to replace the connections when you replace it. They will make a difference and keep these new terminals from corroding and not giving you good and accurate voltage.
