Which Optima Red Top Battery?

Hey fellow TL owners. I just wanted to know once and for all which model number for the Optima Red Top battery was for our cars? And before someone tells me to use the search feature, I did and have narrowed it down to either the Red 34 model or the Red 75/35 model. So which one is it? Bear in mind that everything is stock on the TL-S so I want to use the stock battery tie downs. What's the definitive answer? Red 34 or Red 75/35? Thanks again.

34 or 34/78

You will need the spacer underneath the battery.

Yeah, same one I got. You can also get a different tie-down for your battery. I just went to Autozone and picked up some shorter J-hooks so I didn't have to worry about a spacer under the battery.

I have the Red Top 34/78 in my '02 TL-S. With the bottom spacer it fits fine with the stock tie down and J hooks.

That's how I had mine to begin with but I decided to just go with shorter J hooks...just preference. Both ways work perfectly fine.

Hey guys, what would be the big difference between the 34/78 and the 75/35???

I was in desperate need for a battery, went to sears expecting to get a Die Hard Gold and saw Optimas on the shelf. So i grabbed one up. The 75/35. It fits.
Should i have gotten a 34/78?
Thanks!
