oil burn?

I have a 99 TL.
My motor oil seems to be burning up quite quick..
I don't think theres a leak because I garage park my car and there's nothing on the floor.

I changed my oil about a month ago with 1k miles driven since. The oil dipstick shows the oil level at the low marker.

Anyone else experience this?

I'm using 10w-30, I used to use 5w-30 but I was hoping the 10w might help because its a heavier oil.

Thanks..any suggestions would help.

After you change your oil next time, drive it for a day or so and check the oil. Make sure it's full to start with at the change.

Do you change your own oil? If so, do you fill the filter with oil prior to putting it on? It takes a bunch of oil to fill the thing up and therefore might cause the appearance of using oil. When I get ready to change the oil, I fill the filter with oil and I bet it takes 1/2 a quart.

Hey's it's easy to check, doesn't cost anything extra and can't hurt.

If your sure you buring it and not losing it or failing to fill it up correctly like a few of the guys said then ......Solution = Piston/Ring job, once its starts buring oil there is no stopping it, adding junk to the engine does more damage than good.
Head gasket leak would cause oil and antifreeze to mix, your oil would change color.... not burn away and you would have cooling problems.
My suggestion is either to live with it or trade the car in before it loses any more value
