I know the title says it all. It might be old news for some but I just found this out today while at work. I had my parts manager look it up to show me how many pieces were left in the US and she couldn't get any to show up. So I guess this means that you can no longer buy a complete oem kit unless your local dealer still has a few pieces left in stock.
Just figured I'd get the word out there to the other new guys or anyone else in the market for a new lip kit.

I just got mine from Sterling McCall Acura in Houston, they seemed to have no problem getting them. Maybe i got the last set?

My body shop can get them. That how I got my front lip. Long story behind it, but I'll explain when I post the pictures, if I feel like it. That reminds me, I got to post pictures. lol

 

Which is why I got mine when I did even though I didn't really want it at the time. I figured it would be one of my last chances to get it new from a dealer in my color. Got the 02-03 front and sides new in NGM for $575 shipped. It's growing on me.

With the right wheels, the right stance, and the right suspension and performance parts, you don't need a silly plastic lip kit. Don't buy into the hype if you don't really want it.

 

yip...discontinued...according to acura dealership i bought the 2nd to the last lip in the US bak in july...it was going for like mid 400s but since im a loyal customer they gave me a break n charged me low 300s...still low 3s is a hell of a price difference than it was when it was around 200

i have a ngm tl n i bought the lip in emerld green which was the only colour they had on list

rite now its in storage for later use....if i ever decide to put my jdm bumper on

 

I'm sure if you have OEM skirts with the car, and you have it covered under insurance and you crash your car, the body shop can get them. So in saying this, you might want to try ordering it through them if you can't find them anywhere.

When I forced the insurance to get me an OEM lip (saying that I had one, when I didn't), they didn't want to cover it because its considered an "accessory" even if it is an OEM part. But I eventually got them to give in.

Man your dealer lied! I went to Acura Yesterday and they can still get them. It may just be the Acura where i live maybe not in your guys area, I was going to order one and get it installed but im waiting to see how my car is going to be dropped first.

n as for the crash collision shops...they get their supplies from the dealership as well...

 

i guess it was a good idea i bought a few extra front lips when they were on ebay for like 120bucks... you know the usdm lip is not bolt on to the jdm bumper?

Yup, when I got mine I had to get the sideskirts in WDP and have them painted.

dam Acura wanted 450 for the front lip in NY, about 400 for the sides, i had to order my shit from FL........and I went with the WingsWest rear...........saved quite a few dollars online i must say.

Got my OEM kit for free from my old job. Totaled SSM TL-S came in with a perfect kit on it.

I can still get them in Northern NV, but the dealer here is only 4 months old and probably still gets its parts from Niello Acura in Sacramento........but I can get them....they say all but the green and the metallic red are available for 01 to 03. WDP is the "most available" color, lucky for me !!!!

 

they can still get them at my acura dealer, i use to be a painter the acura collision center...all i need is sideskirt's and a rear lip, but i dont really like the way they look, which is why im gonna keep my front lip and see how it looks alone.

i think 1000-1100 for the kit painted by itself no install but now since i have hook ups at Acura i think it might be cheaper probably

 

eh, it looks ok i guess...ill try it out and see how i feel this spring.

 

if i was piecing it together i would do oem front and raceappeal sides and rear

But if you can, on a nice day, do the install yourself. It's not difficult, but it's something that you'll feel accomplished doing and you'll physically see the results of your work.

 

yeh its not that much work.
i just hate those damn honda clips though. so expensive to replace and so easy to break.

I'm from Toronto and I've been searching hard for a Laguna Green Kit for my 01. Sucks that they seem to be all gone these days

 

eh...im not a fan of those parts at all.

i think ill stick with the oem lip alone.

but i talked to them tuesday and they said the side and back could be ordered and in the dealer within 3 days...

maybe its just in some places?
