OBX Header Installation Problem

OBX Header Installation Problem
Me and a buddy worked on the tls today for nearly 6 hours. All went well and easy but the rear headers were a pain. However, the problem we had most trouble with (and still do) is the connection between the front header and the "a pipe"
Everything was connected and that was the last part to be done, but the alignment of the holes was way off. After pulling on the entire header system(heavy pulling), we got one of the three bolts in and it went with unease. We struggled on the second bolt, but got that one in eventually. Since the last hole still isnt aligned, we must either drill the hole bigger or use a slightly smaller screw.
Just to make sure, is the front header the one that DOES NOT have the OBX tag. We put the header with the tag in the rear.
Any suggestions on what might of went wrong or is my header set defective?

yeah, I thought it was weird when I found out the rear bank header was the one with the tag.
But I think there are some who may have the tag on the front bank header. I could be wrong.

btw, everyone, i can definatly feel the difference. warning to everyone else though: you will be addicted and tempted to punch the gas!!!
headers do give a good amount of power, you dont need a dyno to prove that.
next thing i want to do is race my friends 2k2 maxima auto. when i was completly stock, i beat him by only 1/2 car length.
with pilot sports and headers, it will be alot different.
i will let you guys know what happens.
oh yeah, my tranny is almost gone too, been slipping between 2-3 shifts.

too late, it failed, lost all gears, lights flashing, roadside service picked up the car. i am going to dealership tomorrow to discuss the situation.
has anyone had an "updated" transmission fail?

basically, the car went well. it would go from 1st to 2nd smoothly, when it was just about to go to third, it was like it made it only half way. it would rev like it slipped into neutral. when i let go of the gas, it would finally get into a gear. about 1 day later, it completly went out. i only drove a total of 20 miles knowing that car was slipping. that is all it took.
if you experience slipping a few times, take my advice, dont drive car anymore and call dealer. dont assume that it will be good enough to make another few miles, thats what i thought until i saw my baby on a tow truck!
also, file a complaint with the nthsa at:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/home.cfm
the more people who have failures complain, the better chance of getting this fixed.
thescoundrel, are you sure you had the "updated trans"??? Make sure they didnt just tel you that but check your service papers to verify. the dealer will say anything to make you feel better about the situation.
