NOS: Is anybody running it ???

I would like to know if anybody out there has nitrous oxide on their TL-S. I have a 2002 TL-S that I take to shows and I have picked up a system that will be installed on the car over the winter. The plan is to basically use it for looks - but it will be fully fuctional. The bottle will be painted WDP to match the car and engine covers and will be mounted on a polished billet mount. The bottle will have a chrome liquid filled gauge on it and the purge will come out from behind the Acura logo in the grille.

I have talked to several performance shops and they all say if I keep the system at 50hp or lower that it waill be perfectly safe. The plan is to put a NOS switch umder the gas pedal that will only activate when the pedal is at WOT and the system is armed. Im not sure how often I would ever use it but it should turn some heads and look really nice in the trunk.

I just want to know if anybody else is running a system, what brand, how its installed and how the performance is. I'm guessing a 50hp shot along with the mods I already have should make the sedan scoot pretty good. Thanks in advance.

im running a 75 shot with colder spark plugs. i talked to a couple of performance shops also and they said that a 75 shot would be the most that they would recommend on a stock engine. i have a zex kit which u tap into the TPS and u dont need to mount a switch under the gas pedal all u do is program it.

DIRTYJOHN also has a built motor. He's a bit crazy, and I still haven't seen any pics of his car, just video. Someone else on here with a NGP TL-S I think had 100 shot NOS on there ride too.

Are you anywhere near the Columbus/Easton area? I'm going to be visiting my mom up there sometime soon and I'd like to check out your ride if you're nearby.

If you go for a quality setup/installation to be used wisely, i think you shouldnt have problems running a 75 shot.
