No idea, someone help...

I'm hearing this whining/whistling sound when i'm driving. Its gets higher as the rpm goes up. Kinda sounds like a turbo spooling up or sumthin but its not as loud. I can only hear it with the windows up and and no music on. The car drives perfect so far, thank God. Anything i need to be worried about?

Maybe some leak on intake man, i see you removed the intake resonator, check that or it mighbe the exhaust or something. But try to tight up the intake first and see if it solves the problem

If its with no music on its probably engine interference. Is it coming out of the speakers?

i just remembered that when i replaced my air filter i came across a stubborn screw so i had to cut the plastic around it to remove the cover and now it might not be sitting all the way. maybe it could be that. also, the tranny was replaced in 2005.

I've read that others with CAI's have a whistle at like 3k rpm for a second before a shift. I know I do. If you feather the throttle just right you can keep it whistling for a while. I know you don't have a CAI, but you do have an intake mod that removes the resonator which could prevent a sound like that. Might not be your issue, just throwing that out there for you.

When the A/C is on in my CL and I accelerate, there is a slight whistle heard. Try turning off the A/C and try it.
