i have the same unit installed in my TL-S

i kind wish the user interface was a bit better, but i love it.

only thing i cant figure out... when i'm playing a movie... everytime it goes to the next chapter, the unit displays the information on the top and the bottom of the screen and i cant figure out how to make it NOT do that

anyone got any input on this? and yes, i did read the instructions... but that didnt help.

it doesn't fit quite "perfectly". the sides of the screen have about 1/4" or less gap that needs to be filled in, and i'm going to have to cut the top off a little bit more to make it fit perfectly...

that's why i need some bondo or something to make it look even better. don't worry, the color will match the interior metra kit is too black for our cars...doesn't look right. i took the metra kit and dremeled the crap out of it to get the double din to fit....not perfectly yet though

the ddx 7015 is good, i sold one this past monday to a couple with 2 kids, too bad they still crying after the install though, anyway i think is easier to just tracer the outline of the metra kit to a abs plastic and use the big trim ring to tracer the opening of the radio and just cut a sheet than cutting the metra kit. i will be easier now with a metra kit to do the outline, when i did mines metra kit is not available so it took me longer

you are going to need a plastic weld type of kit to fill. bondo will prob crack on it. find a automotive type paint store. they sell plastic weld kits. its like bondo but for plastic. very sandable

oh and the metra kit is almost a exact match when wetsanded smooth to match the texture of the dash!

there's an aftermarket attachment for the wheel controls, the sub i could care less for because i already ditched it the first day i got the car i have 2 10" running already.

security features: just a passcode you create, if the battery gets detached, you'll have to enter it in, other than that i think that's it. as far as me liking it...it's not fully installed yet so i can't really say. heard good things about it, i just can't wait to get it all installed.

Get a wiring diagram, and rewire those 3 buttons to control the nitrous system. Bottle opener, warmer, and arm switch.

At least that's my plan. I don't know if that's doable or not, because I haven't seriously looked into it yet.

Does anyone else not like the dash kit trim look lol? Just cover up the non-matching black plastic

Good luck, looks good!
