this is going to be a new project that im gonna try. simple concept. im gonna put tv's in the visor's. but this gets rid of the mirrors that are there and my grl uses that thing. so, i plan on putting a mini-camera like one of those spycam's on top of the screen that points down. with a swith you can switch between the camera view and whatever is playing on the dvd player. what do yall think?!
Its a good idea but keep in mind the following:
1) the image will not be flipped (unless you have a software switch or hardware switch to do so (i think some of the cameras do).
2) the camera at night blows chunks so make sure you have adequate lighting cuz those mini-spy cams cannot see @ nite LOL.
We did this as a project for an engineering class with all the mirrors (rear view and side) to point outside of the car and quite frankly, the pic quality was a bit shady.

yea i know the quality is subpar. but its cool, as for light i was gonna put a few white led's or something like that to get it nice and bright
