I've heard nothing but amazing things about the COntinental ContiExtremeContant tires.

They come in 215/50R/17 and apprently stick to the road like glue, and treadwear is also amazing.

I'm for sure putting these on in a couple months. Apparently though the only downside to these tires is they have a very ugly sidewall....but I can live with that!

Yoko ES100s 225/45-17s - they even have a nice rub shoulder to protect our vulnerable wheels.

I've got Continental ContiSport II and I love them!!

I still have my stock wheels for now, but wanted better performance at a decent price. The local America's Tires hooked me up.

Get the Yokohama yk 420 @ discount tire company. They are 130 each and that is about $75. cheaper per tire than the oem Michelin that came on your car. They have 11/32" of tread and they drive super. With 10K miles on hot Texas highways at high speeds, I miked my tires and there was hardly any wear. Another good thing is y0u don't have to support the French. I know a lot of Michelins are American made but the bank account is in France. I even bought a new set of Yokahama's for our Sequoia. Great Tires!

As in my .sig, Dunlop SP 5000s, which are "high performance" all-weather tires. They have excellent dry and wet traction, and actuallygot me through the 4th snowiest Cleveland winter with not too much trouble. Only problem is that they're $185 each, next time I'm going with Yokos.

I have also new Toyo Proxes. The biggest difference is that they are so quiet. Never liked my last Michelin.

If they fit in your budget, get Bridgestone Potenza S-03. They are expensive, but they are top notch tires. They give all out performance. 225/45/R17 Y-rated

sorry but I'm totally fed up with Michelin High performance tires all together. My last TL had MXV4 high performance tires, and they lasted me 42000 km which is like 27000 Miles.

I won't give them another chance...and my michelin pilots on the TL have 8500km and already the tread has gone down like 40%...

I won't take anyone's advice anymore on Michelin High performance cause I personally dislike them.
