NEW LED Lighting Underdash/Footwell

Hey guys,
A couple buddies and myself have started selling these locally. I installed them in my car a few weeks ago and love them at night. Here are a few pictures:

Its basically two 12 inch blue cold cathode lights that I mounted under the dash pieces. Its very simple. Right now were selling them locally to anyone who wants them. We usually make them for the car and not just standard. Mine turns on with a sweet little remote that clips on my key chain. But normally the kits we sell come with switches and all the connectors needed. I'm not sure if theres a lot of interest, but let me know if theres an interest here and I'll e-mail and see how it'll work on becoming a vendor. But even if I don't, I'd like to know what you guys think, I haven't taken pictures of my full dash conversion , just the footwell lights.

Edit: I forgot to say we also have Green, sry

Yes, Whites are possible, I don't have whites "in stock" (in my garage) but I can order them special. If theres enough interest, and I get approved by the moderators here, then it'd be approximately 10-15 dollars more. But, in short, yes whites are definitely possible. Along with Red, UV, and possibly orange (I'm looking into it for an Eclipse were working on.)

I wanted to this same set up you have but in white and also two more 6" tubes under the seats facing the back seats. SO those would also be hidden but they light up the feet area of the back seats like the ones you have but in the front. How much would you charge for all four shipped? (2 12" and 2 6")

I'm not sure how much it'd cost, I don't think I'm allowed to put up all sorts of pricing info until I'm an offical vendor. If it doesn't go through though I'll contact you though e-mail, but lets see if I can get 'vendorship' first.

edit: But it wouldn't be more than $50 I imagine, but thats like a guestimate...

Well once you decide on a price, it will help you out on figuring out if people are interested or not. You should'nt have to be a vendor to post prices, it's just to see if you have a big enough crowed of potential buyers.

Well It'd be along the lines of $20-25 plus shipping. I can assure you it for sure wouldn't be more than $30 shipped!. I don't know what shipping costs are, and I'd have to talk to my brother and friend who are in on this also. But if that helps I'm thinking $25-$30

It's a start

Is that for the 2 12"? or for all four set up like I listed above? Thanx!

That would be for just the 2 front lights (driver and passenger)
Blue or Green kits would be $20 for two 12" cathodes, a power inverter, switch, and front wiring adapter plus $5 for USPS priority shipping = $25

White or Red kits would be $25 for two 12" cathodes, a power inverter, switch, and front wiring adapter, plus USPS priority shipping = $30.

If you'd want to add the two rear seats (pictures coming soon) than it would be $20 for blue or green and 25 for whiteor red. This would include two 12" cathodes, power inverter, and rear wiring adapter plus $5 USPS shipping.

12" cathodes for the rear is less than the front because I can combine shipping. I mounted them to the bottom of the driver and passenger seats, and it lights up great. Not even close to annoying or to bright. A switch is optional if you want to door rear and front, I have mine wired together, but its truly personal preference.

Hope this helps,
~Chris

That's a good writeup. I will be making my own specific for the TL, and it will include wiring a switch in, mounting front, and rear seat lights. Either writeup is good, but I will try to include a few more pictures to make the mounting and grabbing power from the fuse box a little easier.

putting it in for the real is a real PITA because under the seats is like furry and take will be hard to stick on and it will keep falling out.

I agree...for the rear I started with velcro, then experimented with double sided tape...but the fabric that the bottom of the seats. The way I have mine (pictures coming soon), was i took a pen and poked two small holes in the bottom of the seat fabric,(the fuzzy fabric) and put a zip tie in, and zip-tied the rears in. the look is much better than having the lights just sit under the seat. Now the light stays low, not obtrusive, and looks alot better.

Yeah I know, I was just confused as to that writeup because it had only a few pictures.

So far, I've had 10 people PM me about the lights, and others show interest. I'm kinda new to the "Official Vendor" thing, I don't know how it works, but what is the next step for me to proceed?
