so some aholes threw a glass bottle at my window. i didnt find out it was broken until i had to go and pick up my brothers. thanks to the useless oem alarm for not going off

Look in the phonebook, there are some places that will come to you. It shouldnt cost too much. Look under auto glass repair. Sorry that happened....

Sorry to see that happened. You should get that alarm checked out, just in case something like this or similar to this happens again. Good luck getting a new window.

 

I dont think our alarms go off if your window breaks I think it only if a door is opened or the hood is opened.

 

yea stock alarm doesnt have that.

you need aftermarket with sensors

 

thanks everyone and will do murky. im having the worst luck selling my car. first my TP sensor goes out now i have to replace a broken window.

 

If you want to stay factory (I don't know why you would) you can add shock sensors to the OEM alarm.

 

^nahh im in the process of selling my car so no need for a new alarm or shock sensors

 

u can find used glass at a junk yard, look brand new and much cheaper than new. shop around.

 

thats a good idea, but why mess around with trying to install your self. the places that come to you dont charge that much. my wifes mom had her windsheild done for 180 and they came to her. Im pretty sure a windsheild is harder then a side window.

at least you didnt have some kidd fall on your windshield.. i remember someone on the boards had that happen to them..

 

I feel you man couple of days ago some foo try jacking my head unit!! they smashed my whole right side window! Mutha Truckas good thing my alarm went off! Im proud of the factory alarms...
