axle

can a bad axle cause vibration with braking....i replaced my lower ball joints today and the car drives much better, no more knocking in the front or play in the wheel.

i get a vibration from 60 to 80 and when i step on th brakes the steering wheel vibrates....but not all the time...it does it when it feels like to do it

brakes are 3 weeks old and it is a bbk

how do you tell if an axle is bad?

rotors and brake are 3 weeks old with out 200 - 300 miles on them...took it easy on them. ball joint took about half hour...they knocked it out quick, you will have to press them back in though.
