TSX Console access

I likewise broke the latch for the console. I have the right replacement, but am now trying to figure out how to replace the piece. I've detached the console armrest and unscrewed every visible screw; however, I can't seem to access the tray and console locks (#19, #20 on the below image). If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Console latches

The plastic latches for both my rear console sections are almost brand new, but 80% of the time I open the bottom compartment and raise the lid, the top compartment lid pops opens up also and dumps most of the stuff in it out on the rear floor

You could have fixed that days ago had you just walked out to your car with a paperclip and the directions. Go try it and get it fixed, that way your airbags will work.

I refuse to fix something till the person at least trys for them selves.

After you drive the car next time and its warm inside, try it. You dont need to be outside the car. Even if you were it takes less than a min.

The windchill will give you more initiative to get it done right the first time, especially if your backside is hanging out the side of the "open door". I don't think you could close the door unless you were to be laying on your head with your legs up over the seat. Maybe it'd be better to let your girlfriend do the fix. She may be more used to the necessary position. But she may not want to finish things in less than a minute !
